Sample Inspection Report
Illustrative example only. These are fictional findings used to explain the report format. They do not describe an inspected customer bike or provide model-specific repair specifications.
Bike & Inspection Scope
An actual report identifies the bike, fitted components, date, location and agreed checks. It records access limits, information supplied by the seller and any checks not performed.

Example Findings
Action required: address the concern before use. Follow-up: further checking or maintenance is needed. Information: scope, observations or limitations.
Frame & steering
No obvious damage seen in accessible areas.
Example observation: no visible cracking or deformation at the inspected joints. Visual checks do not establish frame alignment or rule out concealed damage. Any concern about structural integrity requires further assessment.
Battery & charging
External condition recorded; capacity not established.
Example scope: record battery and charger identification, visible case condition and accessible connector condition. The pack is not opened. A charge display or voltage reading alone does not establish usable capacity, remaining life or internal condition.
Brakes
Pad wear needs measurement against the fitted brake’s limits.
Example follow-up: identify the brake, record pad and rotor measurements, and compare them with the applicable manufacturer limits. Quote any required repair before riding. Do not predict remaining mileage from a visual percentage.
Throttle
Cracked housing requires assessment before further use.
Example recommendation: stop riding until throttle security, operation and return have been checked and any necessary replacement completed. Use a suitable replacement component; a printed throttle housing is outside our fabrication scope.
Suspension
Visible fluid at the shock needs further assessment.
Example follow-up: document the location, inspect for leakage and assess operation using the relevant service procedure. Service options and cost depend on the fitted unit and available parts.
Motor, controller & wiring
Available fault information and visible connections recorded.
Example scope: document displayed codes and accessible wiring condition. No displayed code does not rule out an intermittent fault. Proprietary diagnostics or firmware work require confirmed support for that system.
Drivetrain & wheels
Wear and adjustment checks depend on the fitted components.
Example follow-up: assess chain condition and adjustment, sprocket wear, wheel alignment, spokes, tires and bearing play against applicable guidance. Record what was checked and anything that could not be assessed.
Records & limitations
Service history and modifications need confirmation.
Example record: note which purchase documents, service records, recall records and modification details the seller supplied. Missing records remain unknown; they are not treated as evidence that work was completed.
What Your Report Includes
Observations, relevant measurements, photos of significant findings and recommended next steps within the agreed scope. Manufacturer specifications are used where available and applicable. Unchecked items and limitations are identified. Report delivery timing is agreed when booking.
An inspection reflects condition at the time of the visit. It does not guarantee future reliability, reveal every hidden fault or replace manufacturer recall and warranty procedures.
