Pre-Purchase Inspection

Understand the visible condition and purchase risks of a used bike. Share the listing and location so we can confirm model support and inspection access. An inspection cannot rule out hidden faults or establish remaining battery life.

New-Bike Setup

A pre-delivery inspection checks assembly and setup before the first ride. Work follows the available instructions for the bike and its fitted components; missing information or additional work is discussed with you.
- Accessible fastener checks using applicable manufacturer specifications
- Brake function and bedding-in where appropriate
- Suspension sag and available adjustments for the rider
- Tire pressure, spoke condition and wheel alignment checks
- Cable routing and supported display settings

Warranty questions
Share your symptoms, purchase details, and any existing claim number before booking. We can document findings for the manufacturer’s review. Coverage, repair approval, and reimbursement remain subject to the manufacturer’s decision. Volt Wrench does not currently claim authorized service status.
What we can and can’t take on
- No battery pack opening or cell-level repairs.
- No modifications intended to defeat road-use restrictions.
- No street-legal conversions of off-road-only bikes.
- Disclose water exposure, crash damage, and modifications before booking so we can assess the work safely.
- A parent or guardian must arrange service for a minor.

What your service includes
- Direct contact. Work with Ryan from the initial request through the findings and service record.
- Clear evidence. Photos, measurements, and notes explain what was found and what needs attention.
- Agreed scope. Additional repairs, parts, and travel are confirmed before you approve the work.
- Independent judgment. The recommendation follows the condition of your bike and the information available.
Service depends on model-specific information, tooling and parts availability. Proprietary software access, firmware updates and battery-capacity testing are not included unless confirmed in your quote.
